Throughout his life, Joel has served his community as a volunteer, transportation planner, and a member of the Army National Guard. He is running for State Assembly to be the public servant that the Valley needs.
Joel Campos was born and raised in Modesto. He is proud to say that he was raised in a multi-generational household, with his grandparents helping to raise him during much of his youth. Joel grew up in West and North Modesto and attended local public schools.
